Support Groups
Dad's Support Group
'That's my Dad'

Session 1 August 12, 2026 @ 5.30pm-7pm Free
Session 2 August 26, 2026: @ 5.30pm-7pm Free
Session 3 & 4 TBA
Maximum 10 participants, so secure your spot early.
There’s no set in concrete agenda for these sessions. Instead, each session will be shaped by the dads in the room and what feels relevant on the day.
We might talk about parenting, relationships, stress, work, family life, connection with our kids—or something completely unexpected.
The conversation will evolve naturally, allowing space to share experiences, hear different perspectives, ask questions, laugh, reflect and perhaps see things a little differently.
Sometimes the most valuable conversations are the ones we don’t plan.
This is a space to come as you are, without judgement or the pressure to have it all figured out.
We’ll trust the group to find its own rhythm and enjoy the organic process of learning from one another.
No lectures. No perfect-parent expectations.
Just honest conversation, connection and a room full of dads figuring things out together.
Free Sessions.
A commitment to the 2 sessions is encouraged.

You might come along feeling a little nervous and leave having had a great conversation, discovered something new about yourself, or met someone you’d genuinely like to see again.

The Loft Sessions were created to bring people together in a meaningful way. In a world where genuine connection can be hard to find, these groups offer a safe, welcoming, and comfortable space where like-minded individuals can gather to explore personal growth, self-awareness, relationships, wellbeing, and the challenges of everyday life.
There is no pressure to be anything other than yourself. Whether you're seeking insight, companionship, support, new perspectives, or simply a place to have deeper conversations than those found in everyday life, The Loft Groups provide an opportunity to learn, reflect, connect, and grow alongside others who share a similar curiosity about themselves and the world around them.
Many people discover that some of life's most valuable lessons come not from being taught, but from hearing the stories, experiences, and wisdom of others. The Loft Groups create a space where those conversations can naturally unfold.
What's on the Agenda?
The Loft Sessions are designed around a range of topics and themes, often with a specific focus for each gathering. Discussions may explore areas such as personal development, relationships, mindfulness, purpose, emotional wellbeing, communication, resilience, and living a more intentional life.

While each session has a planned direction, the most meaningful conversations often emerge organically. The agenda serves as a guide rather than a rulebook, allowing the group to follow what feels most relevant, valuable, and engaging in the moment.
Every gathering is unique, shaped by the people in the room, the experiences they bring, and the conversations that naturally evolve. The result is an authentic, enriching experience where insight, connection, and growth can occur in unexpected ways.
Benefits of Support Group Therapy
Common Identity
Group Support Therapy fosters a sense of belonging among others who may share similar thoughts, circumstances, and challenges as you.
Judgement free
The Loft Sessions provide you with a supportive and inclusive space where you can express yourself freely without fear of judgment.
Different Perspectives
You can test out new ways of thinking. A group provides a relatively safe place to say, “I’ve always thought about it this way—what if I looked at it differently?”
Self-awareness
You may discover your own perspective more clearly. Interestingly, hearing other viewpoints can help you work out what you actually think, feel and believe, rather than simply accepting the perspective you've always held.
Motivation
Listening and gaining a better understanding of how others face their struggles, you are inspired to make your own changes.
Acccountability
Sharing with others in a group setting encourages you to action and maintain the skills learned within the group.
Friendship
You may find others in the group who share similar opinions and perspectives, leading to healthy and beneficial interactions outside the group.
Confidence
The Loft Sessions are designed to help you feel more confident, capable, and connected. Understanding what is most personal is what is most universal can grow your confidence within your family, community and the world in general.
